After I made the Blue Majik CBD Infused Lemonade, my mind has been turning with all the ideas for lemonade infusions. Lavender Lemonade is a common recipe in the herbal community, so why not add even more relaxation to the elixir with a few drops of CBD oil and make it sugar free?
Similar to the last lemonade recipe, I got the idea from Erewhon Market in LA, our absolute favorite grocery store. Did I mention that we go there pretty much for every date night that we have?
Full Moon In Aquarius Inspiration
As I am writing this blog post it is the night of the Full Moon in Aquarius, and what I’ve been needing most is to disconnect, unwind, and unplug. This summer has been flying by, and I realized that I’ve been doing so much to build the blog, that I haven’t really been getting in any relaxation. I’ve been on Instagram, on my email, updating the blog, building amazing workshops, but from all of the hard work creating, I’ve felt super depleted. So I gave myself the “day off” and do you know what happened? I did more work than I normally would and got more done! There is definitely something to be said about doing what you love, and doing it from the heart.
Being a blogger in today’s day and age, I find myself getting addicted to social media and wanting to support and show love for all of my fellow creators. Do you ever feel that way too? Today was a nice realization to remember that it’s okay to disconnect, it’s okay not to post, and update everyone. It’s okay to tune inward, it’s actually the needed medicine to find our own power again. Who are we if we don’t give to ourselves? Who are we if we don’t refuel? While relaxing and unwinding, was when this recipe and creation came together.
Intentions for this Sugar Free Lavender Lemonade
My intention for this lemonade recipe is for you to feel more centered, grounded, relaxed and replenished. May you know that is it safe to come back to self, and the rest of the world will be there when you return.
- 2 1/2 cups of filtered or distilled water
- 2 lemons juiced
- 1 teaspoon of butterfly pea powder (for color)
- 2 drops of food-grade safe lavender essential oil
- OR 1/4 cup of dried lavender
- 1 teaspoon of stevia OR 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
- 1 dropper of CBD oil (use MYTINYLAGUNA15 for 15% off)
- If using dried lavender, prepare a 1-2 hours before enjoying by adding it to water.
- Strain out the lavender.
- Add water, lemon juice, butterfly pea powder, lavender oil, sweetener, and CBD oil.
- Add ice & enjoy!
