I have to say, this is one of my all-time, favorite moon milks. The Rose Cardamom Almond Moon Milk (CBD option, vegan, keto, body ecology) is a warming, cozy and nourishing moon milk that is oh so easy to whip up! I love to make it on nights when I just want to relax with a good book or right before one of my moon rituals.
I know a lot of feelings come up during moon phases, especially during a full moon or new moon. It’s almost like, whatever I’m feeling is going to be amplified by the moon. If you are an empath or an HSP you can probably relate. Making this moon milk is so grounding, it reminds me to turn inward and start to feel my own feelings and reflect on the transitions.
The Magic of Cardamom
When I was making this Rose Cardamom Almond Moon Milk, I knew I had to add my favorite spice, cardamom. Cardamom is one of the most grounding and warming spices out there, and also so so delicious. When all the energy is orbiting around us the best thing we can do is turn inward. Whenever I get anxious and need to come back inward, tasting a little bit of Cardamom helps to bring me back.
If there is a lot of change going on and your monkey mind is going bananas with all the thoughts, plans, worries or fear this is the drink for you. Even if you just want a drink to bliss out on, and it only takes a couple of minutes to make this baby!

Can’t Have Moon Milk without Almond Milk
Part of what makes this moon milk so special is the silky smooth almond milk that adds that subtle hint of flavor and luxurious texture. To make the almond milk for this moon milk, I used my Almond Cow (use code STEPHANIE for $15 off). I used to make almond milk with a blender and strain it by hand. However, it still let a few pieces pass through. With the Almond Cow, I don’t have to worry about that. It seriously makes almond milk so smooth with just a touch of a button. Oh, and you can use the left over pulp to make other delicious recipes!

A Few Options to Fit Your Lifestyle
One of the best features of moon milks is you can make them your own with a few magical enhancements. Sometimes I’ll sprinkle in an adaptogen here or there or maybe some CBD. When I was making this Rose Cardamom Almond moon milk, I was trying to stay on a Body Ecology type diet so I sweetened the moon milk with Stevia. However, it also tastes delicious with a dash of maple syrup, honey, or another Body Ecology friendly sweetener, raw monk fruit extract.
If you have an almond cow and want to get creative, I’ve also made moon milks with pumpkin seed milk. The almond cow makes delicious alternative milks with pumpkin seeds as well and they taste super delicious! Of course, coconut milk is a great option as well!
