The harvest moon is a time to celebrate how far we have come. What are you ready to celebrate? Are you ready to harvest all of the hard work you have been doing? Change is in the air over here, and I’ve seen it going on for everyone else too. It can be bittersweet, and emotional. A time for letting go in order to make room for the new harvest.
Letting go of the fear of what is come, and being open to the miracles yet to come and the ones present now. I’ve been practicing gratitude and feel grateful for even small things: having a job to go to, a healthy family, a loving and supportive boyfriend, and the most loving friends. Coconut milk is my favorite vegan milk to use for this recipe. It has a lovely thick and creamy texture, plenty of healthy fats, and tons of nutrients. Feel free to substitute any milk that works best for you!
Pumpkin puree can be from your favorite can, leftover from a roasted pumpkin you made yourself, or frozen. This ingredient is optional, but it does add to the flavor and has many vitamins as well.

How to Make Golden Pumpkin Spiced Moon Milk
- First, put your milk of choice into a saucepan and warm it to your own desired temperature.
- Once warmed through, add the rest of the ingredients and spices. Mix it together in the pan with a milk frother, or pour it all into a blender to incorporate.
- Add stevia if desired, until it suits your taste.
- Relax, sip your moon milk, light a candle, and enjoy!
This moon milk recipe is very simple to make. I have hope that no matter how much time you have after work, after the gym, or after putting your kiddos to sleep, you can carve out 5 minutes to make this relaxing concoction. Pull out the ingredients from your fridge or cupboard and brew up a special treat just for yourself, you deserve it!

Golden Pumpkin Spiced Moon Milk is the perfect tonic for a full moon. Turmeric and pumpkin spice give this warm drink perfect autumn magic!
- 1 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree (optional)
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon cardamom
- a pinch black pepper
- a pinch of vanilla bean powder
- 1/4 teaspoon stevia or sweetener of choice
- Put the milk in a saucepan and warm it to your desired temperature.
- Add all the ingredients (except sweetener) and mix using a milk frother or put into a blender to mix fully.
- Add your sweetener last, first add half to see how sweet you want your moon milk.
