How to Make a Hydrating Hair Mask

To make this nourishing herbal hydrating hair mask use a double boiler to melt together the mango butter, kokum butter, and shea butter.

Once the butters are melted together, remove the boiler from the heat, and let it cool. Add in the black cumin seed oil, avocado oil, and vitamin E oil. Place the mixture to cool in the fridge until it solidifies.

Once it’s solid, take it out of the fridge, mix for a minute, and add the drops of vetiver essential oil, bergamot essential oil, palo santo essential oil, and vitamin E oil. Use a hand mixer to blend until fully incorporated, and then transfer the mixture to a glass jar.

With herbal magic, moisturizing ingredients, and an amazing smell, your hydrating hair mask is ready to use!

Instructions

    1. In a double boiler, melt together the mango butter, kokum butter, and shea butter. Once melted, remove from heat and let cool for about 10 minutes.
    2. Pour in the black cumin seed oil, avocado oil, and vitamin E oil.
    3. Cover & place the mixture in the fridge and allow it to cool until it becomes solid.
    4. Take it out of the fridge, mix for a minute, and add the vetiver essential oil, bergamot essential oil, and palo santo essential oil.
    5. Mix well with a hand mixer and transfer into storage containers.
    6. To use the hair mask, scoop 1 teaspoon of the mask into your hands, start with wet hair at your ends to work your way up, let sit for 5-10 minutes, rinse, and enjoy your nourished hair!
